ANWR Potluck

Jennifer and Joan hosted a potluck at their home in Oakland, so that those of us planning the trip to the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge could get to know each other and start some serious planning. We are all committed to helping save that special area from oil drilling, and being able to experience the land by backpacking and rafting is truly a special blessing for each of us.

We watched the documentary, Arctic Dance, telling the story of Mardy and Olaus Murie, and their unyielding committment and dedication to have this wonderful place protected by Congress.
