Dorotea and Claudia were down from Oregon visiting family, so I was able to spend a bit of time with them at her grandson Leif's birthday party in the park. Dorotea has been getting intensive chemo treatments and I'm very concerned about her health.

I stayed with Mom and Dad for 4 days and made a berry pie and pumpkin cheesecake for our Thanksgiving feast at my brother Dennis's house in Berkeley. And what a feast it was! We potlucked the food, but really Cy did most of the fabulous cooking.

In 2002, after selling my house and most of my possessions, I bought a Sportsmobile van camper and hit the road to explore the North American continent. This lifestyle has rewarded me with new and renewed friendships, grand adventures, beautiful and interesting sights, and the time to slow down and explore the depths of my soul and psyche. I am truly blessed and grateful.
